Bumbo™ International, in cooperation with Health Canada, is taking action to strengthen the wording of the product's instructions to emphasize that the Bumbo Baby Seat should never be used on any elevated surface such as a table, countertop or chair because children can get out of the seat, fall and get hurt. Reports have been received of children being seriously injured after falling out of chairs placed on elevated surfaces.
